Overview

Founder and Entrepreneurial Lead for Ensemble, an agentic AI booking platform for live music venues. Selected for NSF I-Corps Great Lakes, where I conducted 90+ stakeholder interviews to translate ambiguous industry problems into concrete ML product requirements and a grounded go-to-market strategy. Architected the autonomous multi-agent system and led the full-stack MVP end to end.

The Challenge

Venue booking is a coordination nightmare: fragmented calendars, opaque pricing, and the back-and-forth human negotiation that slows every deal. Building for it means handling real-time availability, payment security, and personalized matching — all while discovering whether any of it is actually what venues and artists want, which required disciplined customer discovery before any line of production code.

The Solution

Through NSF I-Corps, I conducted 90+ stakeholder interviews to ground the product in validated pain points rather than assumptions. I then architected an autonomous LangChain-based multi-agent system on GCP Vertex AI, and led the full-stack MVP — React/TypeScript frontend, Node.js/Express APIs, PostgreSQL backend, and n8n orchestration — to production. The platform drove a 35% booking conversion uplift in testing through ML-powered matching and automated coordination between venue and artist-side agents.

My Thoughts

Ensemble has been the project where everything I care about converges: agentic AI, the live music industry I come from as an audio engineer, and the discipline of building something real enough to sell. NSF I-Corps forced a customer-discovery rigor I wouldn't have imposed on myself — 90+ interviews changes what you think the product is. It reshaped my view on what founder-led technical work actually looks like: half the job is talking, the other half is shipping.
